I moved to Paradise from Long Beach, California in 1975. I still live in the home my husband, Bob, and I shared until his unfortunate death in October, 2005. Our two sons are on their own now, but are frequently home to visit. I proudly served the public as a reserve Deputy Sheriff for 17 years although I gave up my full time career to raise my sons. Later, as a Customer Advocate for a major health insurance company, I was the liaison for large corporations needing immediate resolution on serious issues. Although challenging and rewarding, I lived in a world of emails and faxes and missed face to face contact with my clients. My husband was a Realtor for several years before declining health forced his retirement. Watching as he helped his clients inspired me to become a Realtor. Finding the right home for someone might not be as dangerous as protecting public safety, but this is one of the most important, and potentially stressful, decisions anyone makes.
